Jordan Schools Expansion Project (JSEP)

The project involves the construction and expansion of seven existing schools and four kindergartens, including new classrooms, laboratories, and public facilities. It includes Al-Baqa’a Mixed Secondary School in Ma’an, a single building of approximately 853.11 m² with site works, renovations, electromechanical installations, yards, pavements, and external fencing. Al-Tuwaisa Mixed Secondary School consists of a three-story building covering about 1,240.26 m², involving demolition, excavation, construction, cladding, painting, aluminum and steel works, waterproofing, and paving. Hamzah Bin Abdul-Muttalib School features a three-story building with approximately 1,218.33 m², including specialized rooms like diesel and boiler rooms, labs, classrooms, electrical and guard rooms, CCTV, restrooms, and related site works and renovations. The Eighth School in Aqaba comprises a three-story building with a total area of 2,022.78 m², including administrative offices, teachers’ rooms, kitchen, CCTV, electrical room, classrooms, restrooms, and site work. The Boys’ Secondary School in the Eighth District, Aqaba, involves adding a second floor of about 1,072.44 m² as a vertical expansion with activity areas, classrooms, staff planning, and restrooms, along with civil, architectural, electrical, and mechanical works and renovations. The Girls’ School in the Fifteenth District, Aqaba, also includes a vertical expansion adding a second floor of 574.05 m², covering similar spaces and renovations. Additionally, there is a project to add a second floor to Al-Karama Mixed Secondary School in Aqaba and to build a kindergarten at Amina Bint Wahb Primary School in Ma’an/Shobak, both involving full civil, architectural, electrical, and mechanical works. Nusaybah Mixed Secondary School includes a single-story building of 197 m² with site works, finishing, electromechanical systems, playgrounds, fencing, walls, landscaping, and pavements. The Tenth Mixed Secondary School in Aqaba has a single-story kindergarten building of 187 m² with electromechanical and site finishing works. Lastly, Al-Karama Mixed Secondary School in Aqaba is a single-story building of about 242 m² with site works including playgrounds, shades, fencing, walls, and structural works.
